On The Beach Brighton 2026 runs across two weekends in July with 8 days of shows on Brighton Beach.
Weekend 1
Thu 17 – Sat 19 July
Weekend 2
Thu 24 – Sat 26 July
Gates typically open at 4:00 PM with the last entry at 9:00 PM. Events finish at approximately 10:30 PM. Please check your specific event listing for exact times as they may vary.
On The Beach is an all-ages event. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult (18+). Under 5s go free but still require a ticket. All attendees, regardless of age, require a valid ticket for entry.
A Challenge 25 policy is in operation at all bars. Accepted ID: passport, driving licence, or PASS card.
On The Beach is an outdoor event and takes place rain or shine. We recommend bringing waterproof clothing just in case. The event will only be cancelled in the case of extreme weather conditions that pose a safety risk, in which case ticket holders will be contacted directly.
Tickets
Ticket types vary per event but generally include:
Only purchase tickets from official outlets. Tickets bought from unofficial resale sites (e.g. Viagogo, StubHub) may be void and entry refused.
If you can no longer attend, the official resale platform is Twickets (face value only). Ticket transfers may be available depending on the ticketing provider — check your confirmation email for details.
Tickets are delivered as e-tickets / mobile tickets via email. You can present them on your phone at the gate. We recommend downloading them in advance in case of poor signal on site. Screenshots of barcodes are accepted.
Tickets are non-refundable except in the event of cancellation by the organiser. If an event is cancelled, refunds will be processed automatically to the original payment method. Please allow up to 14 days for processing.
Travel
On The Beach takes place on Brighton Beach, adjacent to the Brighton Palace Pier (Madeira Drive area).

Nearest station
Brighton Station (15 min walk)
Brighton Station is a 15-minute walk from the venue. Direct services run from London Victoria (approx. 1 hour) and London Bridge. We strongly recommend travelling by train — services run late into the evening.
Check National Rail for timetables and to book advance tickets for the best fares.
Free bike parking is available near the venue entrance. Brighton is very cycle-friendly with dedicated lanes along the seafront. BTN BikeShare docking stations are located nearby.
We strongly discourage driving to the event. Brighton has limited parking and significant congestion during events. Road closures may be in place around Madeira Drive.
If you must drive, the nearest car parks are the Brighton Centre NCP and Regency Square. Pre-book online to guarantee a space. Do not park on residential streets near the venue.
Brighton & Hove Buses run frequent services along the seafront. Routes 7, 12, 13, 14, 27, and 47 stop near the venue. A late-night N7 service operates on weekends.
Taxi ranks are located on Marine Parade and at Brighton Station. Expect surge pricing and long waits after events — consider pre-booking or using ride-share apps.
What To Bring
Bags are permitted but are subject to search on entry. Maximum bag size: A4 (roughly 30cm x 21cm). Small rucksacks and handbags are fine. Large backpacks, suitcases, and holdalls will not be allowed in.
There is no cloakroom or bag storage facility on site.
Any prohibited items found at entry will be confiscated and may not be returned.
On Site
Stage times are published on our social media channels and on each event page approximately one week before the show. Times are subject to change. We recommend arriving early to catch all the acts.
VIP ticket holders enjoy:
Official afterparties are announced on our social media channels in the weeks leading up to each event. These are held at venues across Brighton and require separate tickets. Follow @onthebeachuk for announcements.
A wide selection of food stalls and bars are available on site, featuring local Brighton vendors and a range of cuisines. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are always available.
No outside food or drink is permitted (except sealed water bottles and baby food).
Events may include strobe lighting, pyrotechnics, CO2 effects, confetti, and loud sound levels. If you are affected by any of these, please position yourself towards the rear of the audience area. Free earplugs are available from the welfare tent.
Safety
A fully staffed medical tent is located on site with qualified paramedics and first aiders. If you or someone around you needs help, alert the nearest steward or security team member who will radio for assistance.
If you require regular medication, please bring it with you in its original packaging.
If you feel unsafe at any point, go to any bar and Ask for Angela. Our trained staff will discreetly help you get to a safe space. You can also approach any steward wearing a hi-vis vest.
Your safety is our priority. We operate a zero-tolerance policy on harassment and antisocial behaviour.
SIA-licensed security is present across the entire site. All attendees are subject to search on entry. The security team works closely with Sussex Police and Brighton & Hove CCTV.
Anyone behaving in an antisocial or dangerous manner will be removed from the event without refund.
The event takes place right on the beach. Please do not enter the sea during the event — RNLI lifeguards and the event safety team will be monitoring the waterline, but conditions can change quickly.
The beach is pebbled, uneven, and can be slippery when wet. Wear appropriate footwear and take care, especially after dark.
Free water refill points are located across the site. Please stay hydrated, especially in warm weather. The welfare tent is a quiet space where you can rest, access free earplugs, suncream, and speak to trained welfare staff.
Lost property can be reported on the day at the information point near the main entrance. After the event, email the organiser (details on your ticket confirmation).
Phone charging facilities are available on site for a small fee. We recommend bringing a portable charger.
Accessibility
The event takes place on Brighton's pebble beach. While we make every effort to provide accessible routes with temporary trackway, the natural terrain can be challenging for wheelchair users and those with mobility issues.
An accessible viewing platform is provided with dedicated space for wheelchair users and their companions, with clear sightlines to the stage.
If you require a personal assistant or carer to attend with you, a free companion ticket is available. Please contact the access team in advance with proof of eligibility (e.g. Access Card, PIP award letter, or DLA letter).
For any accessibility questions, requirements, or to book companion tickets, please contact the access team as early as possible:

Community
We are committed to minimising our environmental impact. On The Beach operates a leave-no-trace policy — the beach is fully restored after each event.
Sections of Madeira Drive may be closed to traffic during event build, show days, and breakdown. Local diversions will be signposted. We work closely with Brighton & Hove City Council to minimise disruption.
A section of Brighton Beach is temporarily enclosed for the event. The majority of the beach remains open to the public. Signage will be in place to guide beach-goers around the event area.
Sound levels are carefully monitored and managed in accordance with the event licence and Brighton & Hove City Council noise regulations. Music will cease by 10:30 PM.
If you are a local resident with concerns, please contact: community@louderuk.com
